Champions Trophy Classic -2000 (1)

The 2000 event was held at Nairobi, Kenya with 11 teams participating in the knock out format of the tournament..

Since there were 11 teams, 6 teams competed for 3 spots.. Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, New Zealand and Zimbabwe were confirmed of their participation and the remaining three spots was to be filled by a play off between India, Kenya, Bangladesh, England, Sri Lanka and West Indies..

yuvraj was the star in the match against australia... It was fantastic debut ( 2nd for the record ) .. He won the match for india ..
