- Sangakara :The decision was on his keeping, a reason for my delayed post.. He has handed over keeping duties to Dilshan.. 5day match, Dilshan to mendis !??! Yet another first, his first match as captain..
- Samarweera : Evergreen performer.. But that was before the Lahore incident.. Will be nice to see him back into that magnificent run of form yet again.
- Kulasekara : Spearhead of bowling dept., and a good bat too..
- Younis Khan : Their best batsman. How he leads in longer format would be interesting.. Great temperment..
- Yousuf : Lazy elegance.. But he is too opportunistic, wanted to play IPL but was quick to switch to ICL when he did not get a chance., again is back to PAK when ICL was perishing..
- Ajmal : Debutant.. He had troubled the no-gooders against spin, the aussies. Nothing beyond.. He can bowl his doosras at will, no aussie is here to complain..
- Akmal: The reason why he bwcomes an important player is because he is a poor keeper, winning or losing may finally fall to how many catches or stumpings he takes and misses...
