IPL over National duty

Gayle wants to extend his stay with the Kolkata Knight Riders for one more match.. Gayle was to leave after the match on 1st of May against Mumbai but seeing the poor state of affairs in the KR camp Gayle has decided to stay on for another match hoping to put in a good performance one last time...
West Indies have given their captain Chris Gayle permission to arrive in England just two days before next week's opening Test (May 6).. They have given him the permission in case he wants to play an extra game in the Indian Premier League.

Gayle and strike bowler Fidel Edwards had been expected to land in England on Sunday and link up with the rest of the squad on Monday as they build up for the start of the opening Test at Lord's on Wednesday.

Gayle wants to play against KIXP
But Gayle has expressed a desire to play in Kolkata Knight Riders' match against Kings XI Punjab in Port Elizabeth on Sunday before joining up with the rest of the West Indies squad who are already in England..

Gayle claimed he was considering staying an extra day because Kolkata have won just one out of their opening seven matches, although he will also get paid extra for playing another game..

Well, so is money talking over and above the call for national duty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
